attend this two hour workshop and learn the basics of west coast swing (WCS)!

what is west coast swing (WCS)? WCS is a partner dance, though no partner is required to participate, with a leader and a follower and has roots in lindy hop. WCS is a smooth and stylish dance, improvisational in nature, and can be danced to many diverse music genres!

this workshop is a pre-requisite to participate in our WCS 2/3 semester this fall! [more info here]

what to expect: during this 2-hour class we will be covering the basics - from connection and counting to the foundational steps of WCS!

who is this for: WCS is for everyone! this workshop is the PERFECT intro for dancers hoping to attend our WCS 2/3 semester or dancers with experience who just need to brush up on their basics.

what to wear: wear clothing you can move in comfortably. dancers can wear socks or CLEAN dance shoes / sneakers [any footwear should never been worn outside].
